hifi cabinet company selects TeachRock.org inspiring student participation with music.

hifi cabinet company is proud to select Teachrock.org as a recipient of $1 of every hifi cabinet company product sold in the US.  TeachRock is a non-profit registered charity with a mission to transform education and improve students' lives by filling every classroom with the science, stories, and sounds of music.

Launched by Stevie Van Zandt with a Founders Board and Artist Council featuring a diverse cast of music legends, Teachrock.org does more than teach rock, providing free, standards-aligned resources that harness the power and excitement of music and popular culture to inspire student participation and authentic learning experiences in nearly every K-12 subject area, including social and emotional learning and student wellness.

TeachRock.org is an open educational resource of hundreds of full courses, unit and lesson plans, student-facing resources, and more--like this lesson plan, "How Records and Radio Shaped American Culture."

TeachRock’s Harmony Student Wellness™ program is helping middle schools from coast to coast create robust, caring communities while showing measured improvement on key issues such as chronic absenteeism, level 3 infractions, and bullying.

The An American History of Rock and Soul” high school History course is taught throughout California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, and elsewhere.
