For nearly 20 years, Sound and Music has championed innovative and diverse musical creativity, careers, cultures, and communities across the UK.

Their programs empower artists across the spectrum of new music from all backgrounds and circumstances, ranging from young music creators aged 14–18 through their unique year-long In the Making young artist development program, to emerging and original artists at pivotal points in their careers via their flagship In Motion program. Sound and Music also actively nurtures the transformative power of music enriching lives, communities, and national identity through a range of innovative partnerships, projects and platforms driving change across the music ecosystem in the UK.
