HiFi Cabinet Company is proud to select the National Music Centre

HiFi Cabinet Company is proud to select the National Music Centre as a recipient of $1 of every hifi cabinet company product sold in Canada.  The NMC is a non-profit registered charity with a mission to amplify the love, sharing and understanding of music, to preserve and celebrate Canada’s music story and inspire a new generation of music lovers.

Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre is in the heart of Calgary’s culture and entertainment district, encompasses five-floors of museum quality exhibition galleries, has a 300-seat performance hall, recording studios, classrooms, gift shop and café.  CKUA Radio’s broadcast studio and the King Eddy live music venue and restaurant are all part of the NMC. Their programs include exhibitions and artist development through recordings, performance, and education.

The five key pillars of the National Music Centre include:

  • Elevate all voice, ideas, and genres of music.
  • Educate through the lens of music
  • Preserve Canada’s music stories, artifacts, and heritage.
  • Foster innovation, creation, wellness, and renewal through music.
  • Celebrate our music icons and those who came before us.

NMC’s recording studios are used by artists from across Canada to record new music. These artists have come to NMC on their own and through NMC’s artist-in-residence programs.  Some artists release these recordings and have gone on to win awards such as the Western Canadian Music Awards and have received Juno Award nominations.
